Rock Island Hotel
An independent hotel named after the old railroad that runs near Lebanon. This two story establishment has forty comfortable rooms, wach with a bathroom and a TV, with basic cable. Downstairs is a relatively small lobby, but a spacious cafeteria, which is open from 5 am to 11 pm, everyday. The kitchen prepares a buffet for breakfast and dinner.
On May 1, 1994, Hoarace Flint brokered a deal with the owners and negotiated ownership for the duration of one month. He has since allowed those whom he has called to Lebanon to stay in the hotel, free of charge. He has ordered the staff to prepare meals and grants each guest a pass for a free meal in town for lunch.
Behind the hotel is a small, maintained yard area, with planted flowers and several benches. Beyond this is an open field, with rough grass that's usually only trimmed when it gets about two feet high.
